Did Dan Mullen take a shot at Kirby Smart and UGA football?

Following last year’s 36-17 Georgia win over Florida, Kirby Smart and the UGA football program appear to be living rent-free inside Dan Mullen’s head.

Following the first day of Florida’s spring practice, Mullen, who does not face Smart and Georgia for about eight months, appeared to already be taking shots at the Bulldogs.

When asked about transfers in college football, Mullen took what seems to be like a jab at Georgia and the way it handled the Justin Fields situation.

I’ll let you decide for yourself.

“I’d think we did a poor job recruiting if guys were coming in and then immediately walking out the door because it was something different than what they thought it would be and we lied to them during recruiting, or we sold them on a dream that wasn’t true,” according to Thomas Goldkamp of 247Sports.

Mullen, if you are going to talk trash about Georgia, at least win a game as head coach in the series first.

The UGA Spikesquad said it best on Twitter: “Steve Spurrier mouth with a Dan Mullen trophy case.”
