If you’re doing something you shouldn’t be doing, maybe don’t go to a concert? Didn’t Trap teach you anything? One couple maybe learned that the hard way at a Coldplay concert.
It isn’t rare to have an audience cam at a concert. Spotlighting fans of a particular band or singer is normal. But when one couple was put on blast at a Coldplay concert, it came back to bite them. Two people were seen holding onto each other, smiling, until they realized they were on the big screen.
Instead of the video staying completely within the concert venue, it has since gone viral. The man ducked out of frame and the woman turned around so that we could only see the back of her head. Even Martin points out that their reaction makes it seem like they are having an affair with each other.
So even if they were just “shy,” the video was spread around until some internet detectives discovered that the man was Astronomer’s CEO Andy Byron, who is allegedly having an affair with the woman in his arms who happens to be the company’s HR chief, Kristin Cabot. Now who does this get reported to if HR was present and knows what went down?
Look, I get it. You are sneaking around, you want to go have fun together, and you really just want to hear Chris Martin sing “The Scientist.” It happens. But maybe, if you’re having an affair, be better about reacting to a camera? I don’t think the concert employees or Coldplay knew you weren’t ACTUALLY together. But the way you both reacted to being on the spot sure did make the video go viral.
Neither Byron or Cabot have publicly spoke about the video yet. Still, the internet made up their mind about this. Honestly though, it is a wild thing to happen at a Coldplay concert.
