Did an Astros announcer subtly troll Anthony Bass over United Airlines controversy with ‘clean it up’ line?

The debate over a complaint from Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Anthony Bass — he tweeted that his pregnant wife was allegedly forced by a United Airlines flight attendant to clean up a mess of popcorn made by his two-year-old daughter — continues to make its way around the internet.

Bass and his wife Sydney Rae Bass may have trolled the world with photos of their daughter holding a bag of Skinny Pop, but it was a Houston Astros play-by-play man who may have trolled him.

Bass appeared recently against the Astros — his former team — and the call was: “Anthony Bass on to try and clean it up.”

Could be a coincidence. Or it could be a subtle reference to the “controversy.”
