Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Ugly Truth by Jeff Kinney – review

Jeff Kinney, Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Ugly Truth (Book 5)

It's the start of the year and Greg is thinking of his New Year's resolution, he decides that his resolution will be helping others because he's already too good.

However when he arrives back at school he forgets about his resolution because
there is a new girl who is called Holly. One day Greg needs to go see his Grandad, and finds out while he's staying there, Holly is living there for a couple of days with her Grandma. Will Greg fall in love with Holly, Greg's childhood love? Will Greg help others for his New Year's resolution?

My favorite character in the book is Greg because he does a lot of things that most people would never do. He is also very kind to some people but the rest not really. I don't have a least favourite character in this book because everyone in this book has a purpose.

This book is a 8+ age rating because it can sometimes be very silly. I would give this book a 8.5/10 rating wise because there are some parts that are a bit boring.
