Diana's brother calls Prince Philip's funeral 'stunningly moving'

Charles Spencer, the brother of Diana, Princess of Wales, tweeted: “Goodness – what a stunningly moving ceremony.”

The ninth Earl Spencer, Viscount Althorp, famous gave the eulogy at the funetral for his sister.

Because of Covid restrictions, there was no eulogy for Prince Philip.

There were two readings and a selection of music as well as prayers

The Dean of Windsor read from Ecclesiasticus, saying: "Look at the rainbow and praise its Maker; it shines with a supreme beauty, rounding the sky with its gleaming arc, a bow bent by the hands of the Most High."

At the time of Diana's eulogy, Viscount Althorp said: "I stand before you today, the representative of a family in grief in a country in mourning before a world in shock."
