Diana Ross stuns at Party at the Palace gig as she makes first UK appearance in 15 years

Diana Ross wowed the crowds as she performed at the Platinum Party at the Palace this evening.

The legendary singer made her first appearance in the UK for 15 years, as she impressed with performances of her biggest songs including Chain Reaction and Thank You to crowds who had gathered outside Buckingham Palace.

BBC viewers tuned in from home as Diana belted out some of her biggest hits, with fans taking to Twitter to praise her incredible performance - as well as her stunning outfit choice too.

Diana is closing the show, which has seen performances from the likes of Sir Rod Stewart and Sir Elton John.

Taking to Twitter, one fan wrote: " Diana Ross smashing out the park at 78 #Amazing #PlatinumPartyatthePalace."

"Diana Ross looks amazing. Such a pleasure to see on stage. #PlatinumPartyatthePalace #PlatinumJubilee," another added, as a third fan penned online: "wow... Diana Ross' voice is STILL incredible! In awe of such an immense woman. @DianaRoss it's great to see you still thoroughly enjoy performing your craft and showing beauty inside out...or upside down!"

Diana has been teasing her Jubilee performance for days now, and previously took to Instagram to share her excitement at getting to be part at the event which celebrates Queen Elizabeth's 70 year reign.

" I’m coming to you, London! I am so excited to perform for Her Majesty The Queen once more. What an honour it is to be a part of celebrating her historic reign. #PlatinumJubilee #HM70 #TakeMeHigher," she said.

Diana previously explained it was a "delight" to receive an invitation to perform.

"I have had the honour of meeting The Queen many times throughout my life, including when I was with my family," she said.

"Her Majesty has and continues to be such an incredible inspiration to so many across the world and I was absolutely delighted to receive an invitation to perform on such a momentous and historic occasion."

Diana finished her set with a performance of Ain't No Mountain High Enough.
