Oh, Diana. At last night’s AMAs, the 70-year-old Miss Ross arguably upstaged everyone else she encountered on the red carpet, from Selena Gomez to her own daughter Tracee Ellis Ross. All it took? A cloak made from feathers, a velvet off-the-shoulder frock, “I’m expensive” diamonds, red talons and that shock of trademark curls in place since the eighties. A bit Disney villain, a bit barn owl and a lot fabulous, our favourite element of the look comes at ground level – with the humble pop sock peeking out of open-toed gold sandals.
