Diana Ross announces concert at Durham County Cricket Club in Chester-le-Street

Motown icon Diana Ross will perform at Durham County Cricket Club on her summer 2022 tour.

The former Supremes frontwoman's concert will take place at the Emirates Riverside cricket ground in Chester-le-Street on Wednesday June 29, 2022.

Ross, who releases a new album on November 5, 2021, had a hugely successful solo career after her stint with the Supremes, who rose to chart dominance with hits like You Keep Me Hangin' On, Baby Love and Stop.

As a solo artist Ross' career went from strength to strength, with number one hits in the UK including I'm Still Waiting and Chain Reaction. She also scored number one albums with both the Temptations and the Supremes.

Tickets for Diana Ross at Durham County Cricket Club, priced from £69 to £89, go on sale at noon on Monday September 27 from https://www.durhamcricket.co.uk/
