Diana Ross' age-defying looks at 77 as she plans to release new music

Diana Ross has seemed to elude ageing for years now.

At 77, The Supremes singer-turned-soloist has managed to retain her youthful visage in a way that has fans begging for a skincare secret.

The star took to Instagram yesterday to tease brand new music, having penned and recorded 14 fresh tracks.

Diana made the announcement in the caption, writing: "Life is about change, and this time has, in many ways, been a gift of Reflection and Gratefulness.

"My Love and Gratitude has never been stronger. It seems it will be another year before I am able to tour again.

"I will always continue singing. Songs of Love and Appreciation.

"I just completed singing 14 new songs. 'Thank you' for your Love and Friendship. Coming soon [heart emoji]."

Alongside her announcement Diana shared a snap of her performance at the 2019 Grammys, rocking a bold red tulle gown as her celeb pals below cheered her on.

She had shot to fame in the 1960s as one third of The Supremes, and quickly became a hit not just for her vocals but her beauty.

Diana went solo in 1970, and carved out a hugely successful career on her own.

Diana has faced some heartbreak in recent months after Mary Wilson, one of her Supremes bandmates, died at the age of 76.

Mary had also announced new music, just days before her death in February.

" I woke up to the news," Diana captioned an old photograph of the band, " My condolences to Mary's family.

"I am reminded that each day is a gift. I have so many wonderful memories of our time together. 'The Supremes' will live on in our hearts."

Diana and Mary co-founded the group with Florence Ballard, who sadly died in 1976.

A statement from Berry Gordy, founder of the Motown label, said Mary was "extremely special" to him, and that she'll be "deeply missed."
