Dialysis units in all Goa talukas: CM Pramod Sawant

PANAJI: Chief minister Pramod Sawant on Friday said the state government is in the process of completing the setting up of dialysis units in all talukas of the state in a bid to make it affordable for patients who need the treatment.

Sawant said that the cost of dialysis is unaffordable for most patients as each round costs nearly Rs 24,000 while the government pays just Rs 14,000.
