Timber firm James Donaldson & Sons has signed up a senior Diageo executive to its board of directors.
Pamela Scott will continue as the drinks group's global operational excellence director in addition to her new role.

Scott has held leadership positions in Diageo's technical, innovation, packaging, HR and global transformation areas and has huge experience of European and world supply chains.
She put in place a global supply chain strategy for the firm's Guinness brand and is also on the boards of North British Distillery and Castle Rock Edinvar Housing Association and is a trustee for the Big Hearts Community Trust.

James Donaldson & Sons has its head office in Leven and has been operating in Fife for more than 150 years. It comprises six businesses working in timber engineering, saw-milling and distribution, merchanting, roofing and cladding distribution, and laminate manufacturing. The group has bases across Britain from Inverness to Ashford in Kent.
