What to expect from Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred?
Outside of a new story campaign, in which you will battle the Prime Evil Mephisto and his forces, Lord of Hatred adds a new explorable region to the game called Skovos. It’s a stark contrast to the other zones in the Sanctuary, featuring sun-soaked coasts, vibrant forests, volcanoes, sunken islands, and more.

In addition to a new region, Lord of Hatred features two playable classes, Paladin and Warlock. The former is a sword and shield melee class, whereas the latter is a ‘heavy metal’ magic class that can conjure demons to fight alongside it.
Lord of Hatred is also completely reworking the skill tree for each class and adding a new War Plan, which changes the way you access endgame activities. Speaking of which, Echoing Hatred will be a new endgame activity in which you battle hordes of enemies. The longer you last, the better loot you will get.
These are some of the new additions coming to Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred. Naturally, with all the skill tree overhaul, increased level cap, loot balances, and itemization changes, buildcrafting will change dramatically in the upcoming expansion.
