Voters in Dewsbury and Mirfield have been braving the awful weather at the polls to elect their MP in the General Election 2019.
And now the waiting for the Dewsbury constituency is over.
The seat has a new Member of Parliament.
Before this year's election, the sitting MP was Labour's Paula Sherriff.
A count has been underway ever since polls closed across the UK at 10pm sharp on December 12.
The 2019 results are below:
New MP is Conservative Mark Eastwood.
Breakdown:
Conservative: Mark Eastwood - 26,179
Labour: Paula Sherriff - 24,618
Liberal Democrat: John Rossington - 2,406
The Brexit Party: Philip James - 1,874
Green: Simon Cope - 1,060
Monster Raving Loony Party: Sir Archibald Stanton - 252
