A devoted wife is keeping a promise to her late husband by bringing a cardboard cut-out of him around the world.
Michelle Bourke and trucker Paul were married for 25 years and dreamed of visiting a host of countries together.
But sadly, those hopes were shattered when the 61-year-old died of cancer in 2016, leaving behind his wife and four children.
Before he went, Paul asked Michelle what she would do when he had passed and she told him her plan.
The Australian travelled to Ireland and Britain in 2017 with her cardboard hubby, penning a book called Conversations With Paul.
She is now bringing him on a fifth tour which will take in Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Paris, London, the US and Singapore.
Michelle, from Melbourne, said: “My husband’s family came from Cork and I’ve got other distant relatives from that area too.
“He would want me to do this and keep going with my life. Paul always said live life to the fullest.”
