To the disappointment of many, "Grand Theft Auto VI" has been delayed. While it has been anticipated for release this year, Rockstar Games announced that the game will instead be released on May 26, 2026.
Given how big the anticipation is for the game, it is no surprise that other video game developers are reportedly avoiding the "GTA VI" release window.
But it seems that Devolver Digital doesn't share that fear.

In fact, it seems that Devolver Digital is planning to release a game on the exact date that "GTA VI" will come out.
The developer took to X to quote share a previous tweet that reads, "Gonna release a game the exact same day and time as 'GTA6.'"
It included a new caption that reads, "You can't escape us."
"May 26, 2026 it is then," Devolver Digital added.
What Game Will Devolver Digital Release?
As of writing, it is not clear what title Devolver Digital plans to release alongside Rockstar's release of "GTA VI."
PC Gamer notes in its report that "Enter the Gungeon 2" is scheduled for release next year, so there is a possibility that it may be the game that will release on May 26, 2026.
However, it can also be an entirely new title or a sequel of Devolver Digital's current titles that has yet to be revealed.
