Singletary was asked to carry a massive workload for the Owls over the last two seasons, and he delivered with 54 rushing touchdowns.
His vision is one of the most impressive qualities, where he sets up defenders early and wiggles his way in between tight creases to create an opening. He shows quick feet and good balance. An effective inside runner, Singletary hits the hole with phenomenal instincts.
He’s a tough runner, especially for his size, showing a willingness to deliver or take contact. Running with a low center of gravity, he is able to make some of the most slippery cuts in the open to make defenders miss. The 113 broken tackles in 2018 speaks for itself.
Singletary does lack the build, which will create some concerns. In his final season he wasn’t used much as a receiver, catching just six passes. Overall, he’s got a well-rounded skill-set without a defining quality, and has the ability to be a three-down back and offensive weapon in the NFL.
