Devin Booker told a fan ‘I’m going for 50’ at halftime, then went out and scored 50

Phoenix Sun guard Devin Booker had every reason to feel confident heading into Wednesday night’s game against the Washington Wizards, after all he was coming off a 59-point game just the other night agains the Utah Jazz.

So when he had 30 points at the halftime break against Wizards, he felt like he could go for 50 again, as he was seen saying to a fan near the court, “I’m going for 50.”

Then he went out and got it done as he kept pouring in buckets for a Suns team that has the second worst record in the league.

The bad news out of all of this, however, is the Suns lost this game, as well as Monday’s against the Jazz, and continue to stink.
