'Devil worshipper' who killed cousin absconds from mental health hospital

A 'devil worshipper' who killed his cousin has absconded from an open mental health hospital.

Mosa Abid, 22, was sentenced to an indefinite hospital order in June 2017 after pleading guilty to the manslaughter of his cousin on the grounds of diminished responsibility.

Police say he absconded earlier today while receiving out-patient treatment at Homerton Hospital in Hackney, east London.

At the time of his detention, it was reported that Abid was a "self-confessed devil worshipper".

He reportedly wrote a rambling letter to Satan before carrying out the attack on Moamen Settarr on October 15, 2016, My London reports.
