A group of developing countries have launched an internet-based news service as an alternative to the "biased" Western media. Though it has been live for almost two months, the NAM [Non-Aligned Movement] News Network was formally inaugurated yesterday. The NNN network, the brainchild of Malaysia, is expected to carry items contributed by news outlets from 35 of NAM's 116 members. (Via Newswatch India)
