Developer behind two Liverpool Waters schemes to be honoured at UK Property Awards

The property developer behind two major schemes at Liverpool Waters is to be honoured at a glitzy awards ceremony this week.

Romal Capital has been recognised in both the architectural and residential categories for its Quay Central and Park Central development within the £5bn Liverpool Waters regeneration project.

The company, led by Australian property developer Greg Malouf and Sam Rowlands, will find out the level of the accolade at the UK Property Awards on Friday, held at London's Royal Lancaster Hotel.

That will come after a panel of 80 international experts have decided who is recognised based on design, quality, service, innovation, originality, and commitment to sustainability, with the award "widely acknowledged as a mark of excellence in the industry".

CEO of Romal Capital, Greg Malouf, said: “It is a huge honour to be recognised for the architectural excellence of our developments.

“The quality of the design of Quay Central and Park Central have been ranked amongst the best for multiple residences in the UK.

"Of course it is great recognition for Romal, but is also fantastic for Liverpool as a whole to be attracting interest and praise from global property industry experts.

"Our vision has long been to create a world-class development and this is recognition is a tribute to that aim.”
