Jade Goody tragically passed away from cervical cancer aged 27 in 2009.
Heartbreaking scenes have resurfaced of the reality star sobbing as she received the diagnosis while she appeared on the Indian version of Big Brother , also known as Bigg Boss.
In emotional scenes aired on TV at the time, the mother-of-two could be seen wiping the free-flowing tears from her eyes.
Away from the housemates, Jade was called into the Big Brother diary room where she got the sad news via a mobile phone.
She responded on the phone simply with the words: "Someone's not lying to me or playing a joke."
The Big Brother star, who was the only international star on Bigg Boss, was delivered the awful blow by her London-based doctor.
All the Bigg Boss contestants rushed to comfort a crying Jade when the news trickled through the house.
"You need to calm down, you have to face it," one housemate told her.
The Bigg Boss housemates were distraught by the diagnosis. "You're not supposed to cry," one of housemates told another star.
Jade's spokesman Mark Thomas said at the time: “It is pretty obvious that she was looking forward to her time in the house, but her health is the first priority and she is flying back for treatment and more tests.”
The television sensation had only starred on the Indian version of Big Brother for 48 hours when she received the terrible news.
Celebrity Big Brother star Jade was diagnosed with cervical cancer in August 2008 while she was in India.
It was believed the show was an attempt to repair Jade's image after the explosive race row with Shilpa Shetty in the 2007 series of Big Brother.
Before Jade entered the Bigg Boss house, she had a friendly reunion with Shilpa.
The last segment of the documentary series Jade: The Reality Star Who Changed Britain will air on Wednesday night.
