Chelsea supporters are fearing the worst about Reece James.
The young right-back, who impressed during a loan spell with Wigan Athletic this season, has been tipped to make a first-team breakthrough next term and provide competition to Cesar Azpilicueta.
However, he might be forced to miss the start of the 2019/2020 campaign because of injury.
Currently on international duty with the England U20's at the Toulon Tournament, there was cause for concern regarding James as he was carried off on a stretcher and the images weren't looking too good.
If the worst is confirmed then James could face a long spell on the sidelines.
He would join fellow academy stars in Callum Hudson-Odoi and Ruben Loftus-Cheek who will both miss the start of next season after suffering Achilles injuries which ruled them out of the Europa League final last month.
However, Blues supporters are hoping that won't be the case and have taken to social media and wished the defender a speedy recovery.
