Devastated pals of tragic young dad raise thousands for his baby girl and partner

Devastated pals of a young dad who passed away suddenly have rallied round his heartbroken family.

Thousands of pounds has been raised in memory of Wishaw man Graham Fraser after his shock death on Sunday.

The 27-year-old, described as a "one in a million" and a "gem of a guy" leaves behind a young daughter and partner.

A JustGiving page was set up following the tragedy, with an initial target of £1500 being smashed in just hours.

The page reads: "As most of you know we got the tragic news of Graham Fraser's sudden passing on Sunday.

"Graham's death will leave a massive gap in many lives which will never be filled.

"He was one of life's true gem's. He made friends every where he went and was known by everyone.

"This page has been set up with the blessing of Grahams family and I ask that you please donate what you can a little will go along way in such heartbreaking times".

More than £4200 has since been raised on the page from over 160 generous people.

Fraser and Ashleigh Hamilton commented: "May you find peace Graham. What a gem of a guy, with time for everyone always. Thinking of all your family & friends".

Jilly Welsh added: "Thinking of you all at this sad time. So sorry for the loss of such a nice guy"

And another wrote: "Thoughts are with his family and close friends. Graham was a great guy".

We Graham's devastated family members paid tribute to the young dad on social media.

His mum, Angela Blackwood, said her son "lived his life the way he wanted".

She wrote on Facebook : "This is heartbreaking, the pain. RIP Graham, gonna miss you son, your my world always will be.

"You lived your life the way you wanted and made everyone smile you knew how to party and you did that.

"Just when I think I have learned the way to live, life changes. Forever in my mind and heart".

Partner Natalie changed her Facebook profile picture to Graham's 'favourite' snap of the couple.

She captioned it: "He always said this was his fav picture ever of us, why did this need to happen".
