Devastated family say woman, 28, killed in crash at Coryton was 'taken far too early from our lives'

Police have named a 28-year-old woman who died in a crash on the Coryton roundabout at the weekend.

Danielle Andrews, 28, from the Rhiwbina area of Cardiff, was involved in the collision at the Cardiff motorway junction in the early hours of Saturday (November 28).

Danielle’s family have paid tribute to her, releasing a statement through the police.

It said: " Danielle was a much loved granddaughter, daughter and niece who was tragically killed as a result of a road traffic collision.

“Danielle had links to the Valleys and Cardiff area and she will be missed by her many friends.  She had a good sense of humour and would easily make friends.

“She has been taken far too early from our lives and we are totally devastated by her death and just hope that she has now found peace.”

The road was closed for several hours as police investigated.

South Wales Police is continuing to investigate the collision and is appealing for anyone who has not yet come forward or anyone who may have dashcam footage to make contact via 101 or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555111 quoting reference 2000432790 .
