“He cheered and jumped with joy every time they scored that night, as he always did. He was a huge Celtic fan.

“He used to do the old folks' gardens and was always smiling.”
Now Lynn has paid tribute to Christopher after the funeral calling him a 'true gentleman'.
She said: “Yesterday was a hard day to accept.
“We lay Christopher Mcgonagle, my little cousin to rest.
“He was such a lovely boy, with his whole life ahead of him.
“He was full of plans for his future and his adult life was really just beginning.. and it was all snatched away, without a word of warning.

“He had no enemies in this world, there was no one who met him that didn't like him, he smiled at everyone, he was always keen to help others, he was respectful and considerate and a true gentleman.
“You will be sorely missed everyday but looking around yesterday at the mass, the burial, the Glen Lusset and at Aunty Theresa's - I realised how lucky we are to have a family like ours.
“No family is perfect but ours is pretty close when it comes to being there for each other.
“A family that pulled together and stood strong, supported each other and will be there to continue to support William Mcgonagle Margaret McGonagle Leanne Mcgonagle Rachel McBain and everyone else who is grieving.
“We will grieve together but heal together also.. knowing one day, we'll meet you again.
“Never did we think you would be the one to go upstairs first, but I'm sure you'll be there to show around whoever is next.

“We were blessed to have known you Christopher,
“Always in our thoughts
“Forever in our hearts
“Rest In Peace mr.”
