'Devastated' Cambuslang family appeal in search for missing pet chihuahua

A 'devastated' family from Cambuslang are asking for Glasgow's help following the disappearance of their beloved chihuahua, Lloyd.

The two-year-old pet was last seen in the early hours of July 4, on Chatelherault Avenue and around the big wheel, in Cambuslang.

'Helpless' mum Denise McFadden has since been in touch with Glasgow Live in an appeal for the public's help.

Lloyd, who slipped his harness on July 3, on Borgie Crescent, Halfway, Cambuslang, was being looked after by a family friend while they were away on holiday.

Denise, whose mum sadly passed away in April, said: "We are totally devastated for him and feel so helpless with being so far away.

"I lost my Mum in April after a long illness, this holiday was booked for my daughter to try and bring a little bit of happiness in to her life, she was so close to my Mum and has struggled to come to terms with losing her.

Lloyd's family say they feel 'helpless' (Denise McFadden)

"Lloyd went missing the day after we arrived in Florida.

"We have had a massive amount of support from friends and from members of the Facebook page Lost Dogs Glasgow, we feel helpless being stuck over here."

Can you help reunite Lloyd with his heartbroken family, Glasgow?
