'Devastated' - Birmingham City fans have clear message over Lukas Jutkiewicz to Nottingham Forest link

Birmingham City fans are almost unanimous in their desire to see star striker Lukas Jutkiewicz remain at St Andrew’s.

The 31-year-old striker has once again been linked with a move to Nottingham Forest this summer, with boss Sabri Lamouchi keen to add a variety of options to his squad, and with 15 goals last season in a struggling Blues side, it’s easy to see why the Frenchman is so keen.

Forest were too reliant on 21-goal Lewis Grabban last term, and their lack of options proved part of their catastrophic downfall in missing out on a play-off place.

Lamouchi wanted the 6ft striker in January, but couldn’t do a deal, and now, it appears he’s stepped up his interest in a bid to add extra firepower which could see the ex-Burnley man link up with Lyle Taylor and Grabban.

Blues fans, however, are keen to see ‘Juke’ remain in the second city, but remain a tad nervous over new manager Aitor Karanka’s history with their popular son.

Karanka, a former Forest boss, was Jutkiewicz’s manager at Middlesbrough, and sanctioned his sale to Burnley in 2014, and it’s that history which is giving some Bluenoses cause for a little concern.
