Detroit Youth Choir will perform at halftime of Lions home opener

The Detroit Youth Choir has captivated a national television audience with powerhouse performances on the popular “America’s Got Talent” program. The group has advanced to the semifinals of the NBC talent show.

Now they will come back home to Detroit and perform for the Ford Field faithful. The Lions announced that the choir will provide the halftime entertainment during the team’s home opener against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 2. The team had previously announced they would perform at some point during the season, but the date is now official.

Congrats to the Detroit Youth Choir, and we wish them luck as they continue to chase the dream.
