DeTrafford gets approval for Gallery Gardens scheme in Castlefield

Luxury property developer DeTrafford has been given the green light for its Castlefield development Gallery Gardens.

The latest development is the fifth phase of its Castlefield master scheme, welcoming 336 new homes to the area.

This Manchester city centre master scheme will comprise of seven developments and will bring a new residential quarter to life.

This will include 1097 exclusive apartments and houses with accompanying café, bar, restaurant and leisure facilities – encompassing 15,323 sq ft of commercial and retail space.

It will feature one, two and three bed studio, duplex and triplex apartments alongside contemporary four storey town houses.

A DeTrafford spokesperson said: “We are delighted that planning has been accepted on this project as we now get the chance to share our vision of what successful, contemporary inner-city living can offer.

“The 19 storey and 13 story towers of Gallery Gardens house luxurious and stunning apartments that highlight and reflect our imaginative and flexible use of space.

“We have also allowed for innovative commercial space that reflects the thriving community we are seeking to design in this creative environment.”

DeTrafford was founded by CEO Gary Jackson in 2008 to pioneer concepts for functional and flexible living.
