A Jack Russell has become fascinated with his pool and pulls it around the garden for entertainment.
Three-year-old Raffi has many quirks, but his love for water is the biggest one of them all.
Owner Wendy Porter, from Manchester, caught the funny moment on video and says the rescue pup is in his element when he has his pool to keep him occupied and is fearful unless it involves water.
Wendy, 64, said: “He has managed to drag that pool through the back door of the garage and through the other side and then drag it up the street.
"This one is his fourth pool and it's worse for wear but it's lasted him over a year and a half. The first one lasted all of 16 seconds and the last one about 15 mins.”
Raffi is stronger than he looks and is seen pulling his pool across all angles of the garden. He manages to knock over a plant pot all while soaking the grass.
When Wendy puts the pool back in place, Raffi will start pulling it all over again until he finds the perfect place for it – and he looks very happy with himself.
She said: “He will pull his pool every day if it contains water. If it doesn't he will try and dig for it and hope it will appear.
“He’s not like any working Jack I have ever had the privilege to share precious moments with.”
One time Raffi managed to drag the pool into the garden pond and went sailing. He has done this with his pool for as long as he has had it.
Wendy said: “It's not just an obsession with the pool, it is with water full stop. He doesn't get it. He knows the smell and he knows where it is – he can smell it from miles away. He’s fascinated with how it moves.”
Wendy is a dog walker and crafter raising funds for animal rescues, and likes to share Raffi’s antics in a Jack Russell Facebook group for everyone to appreciate. Regular Raffi updates have been known to brighten up people's social feeds.
One user said: “This is just the funniest thing I’ve ever seen. Every time I see him drag that pool I laugh and laugh. I just love him.”
Another commented: “He’s a determined little fella” as another joked “Do you hire him out for removals and garden landscaping?”
Another user said: “He’s on a MISSION.”
Wendy has had Jack Russell’s for 45 years and says life wouldn't be the same without one. And that won’t be the last of Raffi’s antics.
