Detectives launch manhunt for suspect after 'flashing spree at DLR station'

Detectives are hunting a man suspected of repeatedly exposing and pleasuring himself at in front of rush hour commuters at a DLR station.

The spate of flashing incidents took place at West Silvertown DLR station in July, the British Transport Police (BTP) said.

The suspect was "spotted exposing and pleasuring himself" inside the station three times within a six day period.

Detectives said each indecent took place early in the morning, between 7am and 8am, on July 26, 28 and 31.

The BTP has now shared images of a man they believe may have information that would help with their investigation into the flashing spree.

The force said in a statement: "Officers believe the man in the CCTV image may have information which could help their investigation.

"If you recognise him, please contact BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 95 of 26/07/20.

Anyone with information can also call Crimestoppers completely anonymously on 0800 555 111.
