Detectives are investigating after a woman was sexually assaulted in an alleyway in Stockport.
The 42-year-old victim was attacked in Bredbury in the early hours of Sunday morning.
She had been walking along Field Street – a pedestrianised alleyway that runs between Higher Bents Lane and Goyt Crescent - at around 1am when she was grabbed by a man who then sexually assaulted her.
The woman escaped the scene and went home before calling police.

She is currently being supported by specially trained officers.
A spokesman for GMP described the attacker as a very slim, tall, white man, aged around 20-years-old.
He was wearing light jogging bottoms and spoke with a local accent.
Det Con Matt Croy, of GMP’s Stockport District, said: "Understandably, this incident will cause concern in the local community but I want to reassure residents that we are working to find the person responsible for this terrible act.
"However, we are now asking for the public’s help to do this.
"If you think that you might have any information that can assist us in finding the offender then please contact police.
"No detail is too small so if you think you know something then please do not hesitate to contact us."
