A teenager was questioned on suspicion of attempted murder after a man was shot in Toxteth .
Police teams raided a home and arrested a 17-year-old boy as part of an investigation sparked by a shooting n ot far from Lodge Lane.
That probe started on Friday evening - when the victim sought hospital treatment for a gunshot wound to his groin.
The man, in his 20s, was thought to have been the subject of a targeted attack.

He had attended hospital at 6.20pm on Good Friday following the gun blast, which was not reported to police.
The victim then did not co-operate with detectives.
Despite this, officers were able to establish the attack had taken place in the area of Solway Street East and Dove Street, not far from Lodge Lane.
Forensic and house-to-house enquiries followed, with Detective Chief Inspector John Williams stating on Saturday: “The victim is not co-operating with us at this stage, so instead we need to hear from anyone who saw or heard gunfire in these streets around 6pm, or has since heard anything being discussed, whether within the L8 community, or further afield."

Now it has emerged a teen was arrested following the attack after police executed a warrant on Sunday morning.
The 17-year-old, who is from Liverpool, was taken into custody and questioned before being released on conditional bail.
