Detective Pikachu is now available to watch at home

Detective Pikachu is heading to streaming services in the UK this Easter.

If you're looking for something new to watch or want some escapism then the hit film will be available to stream on NowTV from Friday, April 10.

The film was a huge success when it was released in 2019, becoming the second highest grossing video game film adaption of all time.

It stars Ryan Reynolds as the voice of the beloved Pikachu, who alongside aspiring trainer Tim Goodman attempts to uncover the mystery of Tim's father, Harry's disappearance.

It will mark the first time the film is available to stream as part of a subscription service, following its cinema and home video release.

Recently a number of film companies announced they would be releasing recent cinema releases including Trolls World Tour and The Invisible Man onto streaming services.

This is following the closure of cinemas across the UK due to the coronavirus outbreak, and the films having their run cut short.

To watch Detective Pikachu you can sign up for a free seven-day trial on NowTV here. Once the trial is up you can cancel it for free or continue the subscription for £11.99 per month.
