David Moyes has confirmed that no bids have been received from either Chelsea or Manchester United for Declan Rice.
The Hammers midfielder is heavily linked with both Premier League clubs.
Rice has become an integral part of the Hammers set-up and continues to grow, both at club and international level.
Chelsea have long been linked with the 22-year-old, who was on their books as a boy before they released him.
United are reportedly ready to rival the Blues as they also eye a move for Rice, but Moyes insists no concrete offers have been lodged.
"They're not true [rumours of a bid], we've had no contact from either of those clubs regarding Declan and we wouldn't want any anyway," he told Amazon Prime.
"He's doing great for us, he's a big leader now, he's taken a lot of the weight off Mark Noble.
"He's turning out to be a really good player but also a really good boy and good around the club."
Rice's versatility further adds to his skill set with the Hammer capable of playing in midfield or attack.
N'Golo Kante has been linked with the departure door at Stamford Bridge.
While in Manchester Nemanja Matic will soon enter the final year of his deal.
West Ham are also concerned with bringing players in rather than being worrying about possible exits.
Moyes is looking to replace Sebastian Haller who ended his disappointing spell in London by moving to Ajax.
"We've already made big inquiries and offers for players at clubs, which have not been accepted or obviously we would have signed somebody," he said.
"It is not as if we are not trying to that, we have tried.
"But I need to get players who I think can make a difference and I want it to be someone who I think can help us."
