Quarterback Brett Hundley is one of the free agent additions the Arizona Cardinals have made. So far unannounced by the team, he will get a one-year contract worth a little less than $2 million and can be worth up to nearly $3 million.
The details of the deal are in, per ESPN Stats and Information, as shared by beat reporter Josh Weinfuss.
Base salary: $1.125 million ($150,000 fully guaranteed)
Signing bonus: $600,000
Roster bonuses: $50,000 for being on the 53-man roster at any time during the season and up to $100,000 based on the number of games he is active ($6,250 per game)
Other bonuses: Up to $1 million linked to playing time, but these are unlikely to be reached.
Total: $1.875 million, worth up to $2.875 million
The originally reported total was $2 million worth up to $3 million. It is possible there are workout bonuses not accounted for.
