Baby products retailer Akachan Honpo Co. has started selling nipples that can be attached to paper cartons of liquid baby formula.
The nipple hooks onto the top edges of the carton and a thin inner tube is inserted into the carton's straw hole, thus skipping the step of pouring liquid baby formula from the carton into a baby bottle.
The nipples were developed by Osaka-based company Jex Inc., which produces and sells baby products.
The liquid milk went on sale this spring, and can be stored at room temperature and drunk as it is.
