Destiny's Child look set for a reunion after the current pandemic ends, according to latest reports.
Beyonce Knowles, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams who shot to fame in the 90s are understood to be in talks, planning gigs and recordings for when the pandemic is over.
A source said: “There’s been tentative talks between all three.
“They’ve always said they would get back together one day when the time is right – and there is no time like the present.
“Nothing has been signed off yet, but as soon as a vaccine is ready and the pandemic is over, watch out for an announcement. It would really lift fans’ spirits.”
Destiny’s Child were one of the most successful girl groups ever, selling 60 million records with hits such as Bootylicious, Bills, Bills, Bills and Say My Name.
They split in 2006, but got back together to perform at the NFL Super Bowl in 2013 and Coachella festival in 2018, reports The Mirror.
Now a full-on comeback could be in the pipeline for Kelly, 39, Beyonce, 38, and Michelle, 40.
Kelly has dropped hints.
She said: “I will say, we have made incredible music in the past, and I don’t know... Can we, like, have surprises in this day and age?
“I mean, I’m just saying. I just find it so interesting, everybody wants to know in advance.”
Beyonce’s dad Mathew Knowles said before lockdown, that the band would collaborate this year, the 30th anniversary of their formation in 1990.
“We’ll reveal some of the original Destiny’s Child wardrobe.
“So it would be great to consummate that with a Destiny’s Child tour, or integrate a tour into that activity.”
Beyonce and husband Jay Z, 50, wore masks as they arrived in East Hampton, New York, by private plane on Friday.
