Any gacha game is extremely generous with character pulls when you start playing, and Destiny: Rising is no exception. With the abundance of early pulls, it might be worth considering rerolling the account to try to get the first five-star character you want.
Destiny: Rising makes rerolling extremely easy, so here’s everything you need to know about it.
How to reroll in Destiny Rising

Unlike many gacha games, like Zenless Zone Zero and Wuthering Waves, you don’t have to keep creating accounts with new email addresses to reroll in Destiny: Rising. Instead, there’s a handy Guest account feature.
Here’s a step-by-step reroll guide for Destiny: Rising:
- In the main menu, start a Guest account.
- Play through Chapter 1-1 to unlock draws (takes around 30 minutes if you skip all the cutscenes).
- Pull on the standard or event banners.
- If you’re not happy with your pulls, head back to the main menu, and in the profile settings, start a new game. If you are happy and want to keep playing on the account, you can bind it to an email or social media account of your choice.

The first five-star character on the standard banner is guaranteed in 30 pulls, and the pre-registration rewards from the mail, alongside all the quest rewards, should get you close to it. However, if you want a character from a limited-time banner like Gwynn, you might have to play for a bit longer to gather more Lumina Leaves and event pulls.
While there won’t be many, you should still collect all the free pulls and Lumina Leaves from events, Triumphs, shops, and more, including a free pull for playing on a PC emulator.
Is it worth rerolling in Destiny Rising?

If you have the time and there’s a character you really want, rerolling in Destiny: Rising is fast and straightforward. There certainly will be new characters in the future that will be more powerful, but at least you can kickstart your Lightbearer’s journey on a character you enjoy.
When it comes to standard characters in Destiny: Rising, there are three characters:
- Tan-2: Solar support character.
- Jolder: Void defense character.
- Ning Fei: Arc offense character.
All three are solid options, with Tan-2 and Jolder providing lots of support during damage phases and general survivability, while Ning Fei can distract enemies with his clones. Which one to pull mostly depends on who you like the most when it comes to design and playstyle.
The game gives you enough pulls to get multiple characters quite early on in the game, and there’s even a standard character selector after you make 180 pulls. Don’t be pressured to reroll, especially if you’re not sure which character you’d prefer—simply enjoy the game and the journey.
