Destiny Rising has four servers, and each server launches at 9am local time on Aug. 28. This means that some players will be able to jump into the game earlier than others, but at the same time, it ensures a stable launch day experience.

Here are the Destiny Rising servers and their launch times:

  • Asia Pacific Server: Aug. 28 at 9am SGT
  • Europe Server: Aug. 28 at 9am CEST
  • Latin America Server: Aug. 28 at 9am BRT
  • North America Server: Aug. 28 at 9am PDT

You can use  the countdown below to see exactly how much time is left until Destiny Rising is out on the NA server:

Destiny Rising is the first mobile game in the Destiny franchise and the first game outside of the main series made by Bungie. It’s developed independently by the Chinese company NetEase Games under Bungie’s license.

The game lives in its own timeline that doesn’t connect with Destiny 2 at all, which is why you’ll see new characters in the story and some familiar faces, including Ikora Rey and even Kabr from Vault of Glass’s lore.

One thing to note is that Destiny Rising is a character-based gacha game, similarly to games like Genshin Impact and Wuthering Waves. This means playing the game to earn limited currency to pull on banners that have a chance to give you the character you want. Otherwise, you more than likely can spend money on pulls.

Gacha games can be cruel when it comes to getting new characters, but more often than not, it’s the game itself that matters, and Destiny Rising introduces multiple features that you can look forward to trying out.

Here are some of the gameplay features you can expect in Destiny Rising:

  • Destinations and campaigns
  • Sparrow racing
  • PvE and PvP modes
  • Housing
  • Dual-wielding weapons
  • Exotic weapons (including classics like Huckleberry and Izanagi’s Burden)
  • Ability to switch between first-person and third-person modes
