The battle rifle and pistol from Halo are coming to Destiny 2.
Bungie, the studio responsible for creating Destiny and Halo, is about to turn 30. In celebration, the Bungie 30th Anniversary event in Destiny 2 is filled to the brim with fun easter eggs for long-time fans. Most notably, a couple of weapons from Halo.
Halo’s battle rifle and pistol are arguably the series most iconic and recognizable weapons. So in a clever nod to the series, both guns will be in Destiny 2 soon. Check out the trailer below to see them in action for yourself! Wild that even the signature triple-shot burst of the battle rifle is there.

While Bungie is undoubtedly known for Destiny these days, the studio made a name for itself with the original Halo trilogy. Back in 2007, Bungie bought its independence from Microsoft and then created Destiny. 343 Industries then took over the reins of Halo, as Microsoft retained the rights to the series. Now it’s all come full circle!
