Dessert pots urgently recalled as they may contain small pieces of glass

A popular range of dessert pots are being recalled as they may contain small pieces of glass.

Pots & Co have pulled several varieties of handmade desserts from shop shelves around the country.

Anyone who has bought the products has been urged not to eat them and return them for a full refund.

Three flavours have been affected, each have Use By dates of up to November 23.

These are: Colombian Chocolate, Mango & Passionfruit (six packs included) and Summer Berry.

Food Standards Scotland said: "These products may contain pieces of glass, which presents a possible health risk.

"If you have bought any of these products, do not eat them. Instead, return them to the store from where they were bought for a full refund."
