Despite losses, Steelers among most improved teams for 2019

All the national media wants to talk about are the losses. The Pittsburgh Steelers lost wide receiver Antonio Brown via trade and running back Le’Veon Bell in free agency. However, the front office didn’t just stand by and let it happen. The Steelers have reloaded at multiple spots with an emphasis on building up the defense.

Because of these moves, Sports Illustrated named the Steelers one of the most improved NFL teams. Here’s what they had to say about the Steelers.

After moving on from Brown and Bell, the Steelers are left with QB Ben Roethlisberger steering the ship with a handful of younger players, including Smith-Schuster, James Conner and new addition Donte Moncrief. While the roster certainly doesn’t have the (potential) star power of the 2018 squad, Smith-Schuster has already commented on the lack of locker-room drama. Things can certainly get better.

This got use wondering. What do you think will be the biggest difference this season? Will it be less drama in the locker room or just more talent on the field? Let us know in the comments below. Maybe you don’t think the team is improved at all.
