Despite 0-2 start, Vikings only 1 game out of first place

The Minnesota Vikings might have started 0-2 on the season, but things in the NFC North have set up nicely for them.

Going into week two, the Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions were both 1-0 after wins in week one. After the early slate of games had finished, both teams, along with the 0-1 Chicago Bears, lost. That means the Vikings are just one game out of the division lead.

That’s a huge benefit for the Vikings, who have played well but turned it over seven times with a -6 turnover differential. They welcome in a Los Angeles Chargers team next Sunday who also lost today to go drop to 0-2.

It’s going to be an interesting game next Sunday afternoon.
