Desperate search for missing baby girl thought to be in 'grave danger'

A desperate search has been mounted for a baby girl believed to be in "grave danger".

An amber alert has been issued after Lyrik Aliyana Brown was reported missing from Gainesville, Texas.

She was last seen wearing a yellow onesie with hearts and flowers on it, WISTV reported.

Lyrik has a birthmark behind her knee, brown hair and brown eyes.

Officials believe that the three-month-old is with relative Jeremy Nathanial Brown.

He was last seen wearing khaki shorts and a black shirt with a Chicago Bulls symbol on it.

Mr Brown was wearing black and white Nike shoes.

It is thought he is driving a 2011 Volkswagen Jetta with the temporary Texas number plate 554 32b6.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the Gainesville Police Department.

Amber alerts have been issued by Texas police departments via radio, television and social media networks since the abduction of a nine-year-old in Arlington in 1996.
