Desperate search for girl, 12, who vanished in her school uniform

A desperate search has been launched for a 12-year-old girl who was last seen in her school uniform.

Tameda Khamara was wearing a grey skirt, a white shirt and a grey blazer when she vanished in Camberwell, south London, yesterday.

Police say they are 'really concerned' for the schoolgirl's welfare and are appealing for help from the public.

Southwark Police tweeted: "#Missing Please help us find 12yr old Tameda Khamara missing from the #Camberwell area. Last seen on 09/06/21.

"She was last seen wearing school uniform - grey skirt, white shirt, grey blazer.

"We're really concerned for her welfare - please call 999 if seen quoting 21MIS016556."

It comes as Northamptonshire Police also search for missing 14-year-old Destiny Garvie Roberts.

The teen went missing in Wellingborough at around 9.10pm on Tuesday night.

A police spokesman said: "We’re appealing for help to find missing child Destiny Garvie Roberts.

"The 14-year-old was last seen at 9.10pm last night, June 8, in the Wellingborough area.

Police are also searching for missing Destiny Garvie Roberts (Northamptonshire Police)

"Destiny is described as 5ft 2in, of medium build, and has very long hair which she wears up in a bun."

The police spokesman said Destiny was last seen carrying two large bages.

They added: "Anyone who has seen her, or has information about where she is, please call Northamptonshire Police on 999 and quote ref MPW1/1626/21. Thank you."
