A football club have issued a desperate appeal in a search for one of their players.
Clare Shine, an Irish international footballer who plays for SWPL club Glasgow City, has been missing since 9:30am this morning (21 June).
The 25-year-old was last seen in the Roslin area of Midlothian but may have travelled elsewhere.
In an emotional appeal on Twitter, the city at Glasgow City FC wrote: "EXTREMELY IMPORTANT! PLEASE SHARE!
"Our player & dear friend Clare Shine has been missing since 9.30am this morning.
"She was last seen in Roslin, Midlothian, but could have travelled anywhere else since.
We are are all very concerned. Please call 101 if you have any info."
The tweet has been shared over two thousand times with many expressing their concern.
"Got bless her I hope she is fine and get home safe", said one.
