Police launch search for girl, 15, who vanished from home wearing dressing gown

Police have issued an urgent appeal to find a 15-year-old girl who went missing in her dressing gown more than 24 hours ago.

Abbie-Lea Bolshaw lives in Blackpool, Lancashire, but police believe she may be in her home city of Manchester.

Lancashire Police say they are 'extremely concerned for her welfare'.

The teenager disappeared wearing a pink dressing gown at around 9.30am on Monday [March 9].

She was last seen on Bispham Road in Blackpool.

Abbie-Lea is described as white, 5ft 2ins tall and of petite build.

She has blonde hair and may be wearing wigs or extensions.

She was last seen wearing black leggings with Armani written on them and a pink dressing gown.

The teenager has links to Morecambe, Carnforth, Lancaster and Cumbria.

Lancashire Police said: "We are extremely concerned for her welfare and need anyone with information to get in touch. For immediate sightings of Abbie-Lea, please dial 999."

Anyone with information about where she could be is asked to call 101 quoting incident reference 305 of March 9.
