Desperate hunt for missing girl, 14, who vanished while walking family dog two days ago

A 14-year-old girl has gone missing after taking her dog for a walk two days ago.

Concerns are increasingly growing for the welfare of Mihela Gurgu who has not been seen since Wednesday afternoon.

The teenager vanished after leaving her home in Haverhill, Suffolk, to take the family's Shih Tzu for a walk.

It is thought Mihela may have arranged travel out of Suffolk, Cambridgeshire Live reports.

Police have said she has links to the Cambridge area as well as Coventry.

Family members and police are growing increasingly concerned for her welfare and are urging anyone who believes they may have seen her to make contact.

Mihela is described as white, 5ft 5in tall, with blonde, shoulder-length hair. She was last seen wearing a black McKenzie hooded top, blue jeans and Nike trainers.

She is thought to have the light brown Shih Tzu with her as well, called Teddy.

Anyone with information regarding Mihela's whereabouts is asked to get in touch with the duty sergeant at Haverhill by dialling 101.
