Desperate family worried sick about young dad who lost plumbing job before going missing

The family of a missing dad are beside themselves with worry, a week after he went missing.

Lee Brady has made a desperate appeal for help in finding big brother Graham after his home was found empty when he went to check up on him last week.

The 35-year-old plumber was "feeling low" after losing his job because of coronavirus, the Daily Record reports.

The last sighting of him is on CCTV in his home town of Carluke in the early hours of Wednesday, December 2.

Despite an extensive search, no one has seen or heard from the dad-of-two since.

The family's nightmare started on Friday when parents Graham and Lynn Brady, both 58, became concerned.

Lee, 33, told the Record: "Graham has never disappeared before and keeps in regular contact with my mum and dad.

"On Friday my mum and I became concerned so went round to his house.

"The front door was open and the lights were still on.

"Neighbours hadn't seen or heard anything.

"That's when we knew something was wrong."

Since contacting the police, Lee says that police obtained CCTV footage of Graham walking along the town's Sandy Road, towards Newlands Terrace in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

Lee said that at the time his brother was wearing black tracksuit bottoms and a cream or white hoodie.

The family are desperate to trace Graham and several heartfelt appeals have been posted on social media.

Lee, among other loved ones, have spent days searching for the doting dad.

Lee added: "He's had no phone or access to any money all this time.

"His mental health has been very low.

"My mum and dad are beside themselves with worry.

"No parent should go through what they are right now.

"If anyone knows anything at all can they please get in contact."

Police Scotland have been contacted for comment.
